About the Owner
Spencer Murray started The Note Network as an Event Booking Agency in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia for live musicians and stand-up comedians.
From humble house shows underneath his neighbour’s Queenslander, to mini-festivals on an acreage halfway to the Sunshine Coast, Spencer began organising as a business partner of Banter Events in 2017.
This led to him taking on projects to promote local up-and-coming bands at underground music venues in Brisbane like New Globe Theatre, Flamin’ Galah and Woolly Mammoth. Some of the artists who played at these events have become international sensations like The Chats. Others have charted nationally and played at festivals all around the country such as Hope D.
In 2018, the Banter Events partnership ended but he did not stop promoting local music and organise events. A new sole tradership was formed, initially named Murray Stream, then Moter Media, and currently The Note Network.
Through 2019 and the COVID years, Spencer was employed in offices where he developed his skills in digital marketing, graphic design, website development, business pitches, and client relations.
In 2021, he helped establish a vinyl record store’s website, event setup and operations plan. Since 2022 he has been employed working on the audio, lighting and video production crews of stadium tours, theatre shows and other large events
The spirit of supporting the growth of local artists continues. Get in touch for any assistance you need to make your new event, campaign, website or business venture become a reality!
