This is an archive of a past opportunity.

This 2-stage local bar and music venue in Woolloongabba is on the lookout for talented musicians or comedians who can help bring an audience.

If you are a performer seeking a cozy, intimate room and a paying gig, then consider The Cave Inn as your next event space.

General information

Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays are open to anyone.

Fridays and Saturdays have less available dates and expectation to bring a crowd of at least 30 people.

Gigs typically run between 7-10pm. Both stages have a full backline so you can simply bring your instruments, plug in and play.

Downstairs Stage

The main stage downstairs can fit 50 people in the prime viewing area plus another 30 in the hallway and patio. This room is ideal for acoustic, folk, indie, jazz acts, or even stand-up comedy. Downstairs events are free-entry.

Payment is a minimum of $40 for 1 x 45-minute set, and there will be at least 2 sets per night. The venue will award bonuses for busy nights which can potentially make the payment $100 or more per 45-minute set.

This stage can only accommodate acts that limit their volume by using brushes on the drums, soft percussion, electric drumbeats, or no drums at all. For louder acts (i.e. punk, rock & roll), see the upstairs stage.

Upstairs Stage

The band room upstairs is suitable for all heavy-hitting bands. Whether it be psych, punk, funk, or rock and roll, the fun happens up here!

Upstairs events pay by ticket sales. There is no venue hire fee, so you make money as soon as the 1st ticket is sold. The Note Network can handle the online ticketing, provide a door person, and design a simple poster. Door split is 15% to The Note Network and 85% to the artists.

Typically there are 2-3 bands each playing 45-minute sets. Capacity allows for 30 punters. For a sold-out show with tickets in the $10-20 price range, each band should expect to make $100-200.
